- Register here to view a free presentation that discusses the evolution of creating pysanky . Artist and ethnographer Sofika Zielyk explains how, in time of war, pysanky can be seen as a metaphor for Ukraine and its people. Fragile, yet formidable, they are all intent on persevering and overcoming in their existential fight against evil.
- Pysanky Workshops – 22 participants attended succesful workshops on March 9, 2024 with instructors Christina Deutsch and Jessie Hnatow. Each attendee left the church hall with a colorful, symbolic, completed pysanka. Click on the Assumption Facebook page for photos.

Welcome to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church!
We are a parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA under the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople and our doors and hearts are open to you and your family! Our church follows the Julian (Old) Calendar. All Orthodox Christians are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Blessed Sacraments of Repentance and Eucharist.
